The story of Dr Fam

Dr Fam has been walking the corridors of Leprosy Mission - India's hospitals for 23 years, not only as a doctor, but also as a beacon of hope and respect for countless fellow leprosy-affected people. He transcends the disease, treating each patient with the dignity and care they deserve, regardless of their origin.
His faith fuels his passion and drives him to serve with compassion. His leadership in the hospital is crucial. From diagnosis to recovery, he ensures that every patient receives the best possible care, paving the way for a brighter future.

Dr. Fam's loving work also extends to the expansion of our hospital in Muzaffarpur, where we aim to provide a more comfortable and dignified space for patients. His aim is to attract more health professionals and broaden the spectrum of services offered to people with leprosy. Dr. Fam's dedication, compassion and faith inspire both colleagues and patients, making a profound impact on the lives touched by the Leprosy Mission.
